How to Properly Remove Paint and Stickers From Your Windows

No one likes old stickers or dried paint drips on their windows, but if you’re not careful you may damage your window by trying to remove the debris.

When you’re cleaning your windows and you wish to remove stickers and/or dried paint spray or drips, wet your window down with soapy water first and use a razor blade scraper wet. If you use a razor blade scraper on the windows without soapy water, it will scratch your windows. The soapy water acts as a lubricant for the razor and will help prevent any permanent damage.

Large stickers can be peeled off using a hair dryer first before wetting, and then using the razor blade wet to scrape off the adhesive. Never use a dull or nicked razor blade.
